StudiFocus ("we", "our", or "us") is a study tracker app developed by NijhumTech. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Android application.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: When you sign in with Google or create an account with your email and password, we collect your name and email address.
• Study data: Study sessions, subjects, goals, and streaks you create within the app.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics (e.g., which features are used). No personally identifiable information is included.
• Advertising data: We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the app's core features (timers, sessions, goals, streaks).
• To back up your study data to the cloud when you are signed in (via Firebase).
• To display advertisements that help keep the app free.
• To respond to your support requests.

3. Data Storage

Your study data is stored locally on your device using an on-device database (SQLite). If you choose to sign in, your data is also backed up to Google Firebase (servers located in the United States) so it can be restored if you change devices.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following third-party services that are necessary for the app to function:

• Google Firebase – Authentication and cloud backup. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob – In-app advertising. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Sign-In – Optional authentication method.

5. In-App Purchases

StudiFocus offers an optional one-time premium purchase through Google Play. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play and we do not receive or store your payment card details.

6. Children's Privacy

StudiFocus is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
• Opt out of personalised advertising via your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
